#Step 1: Connect to Etsy
To begin, the initial stage involves establishing a connection between your eCommerce platform. Through LitCommerce, your chosen eCommerce platform will handle the importing of products and the management of sales channel orders.
Assume you’ve logged in to your account, and the Source Store setup page will appear on the screen. Simply click on your current platform from our supported eCommerce platforms list:
- Shopify/Shopify Plus.
- WooCommerce.
- BigCommerce.
- Squarespace.
- Wix.
To continue, fill in the required information for your current platform. Each platform has different requirements compared to the others.
After successfully connecting your online store, the next step is to connect with Etsy. Select the selling channel you want to integrate via the First Channel Setup page. For the time being, LitCommerce only supports connecting to 15+ marketplaces in total: Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart, Wish, Google Shopping, and Facebook, etc.
- After creating an Etsy account and giving it a nickname, select Connect Your Account on Etsy.
- Please be aware that Etsy listings may incur additional costs.
#Step 2: List products on Etsy
First of all, you need to create a new draft listing. Please look at the left sidebar menu and navigate to All products.
Now, simply tick the corresponding checkbox next to the products you want to list on Etsy. Click List products on a channel, then choose Etsy from the list.
You will be redirected to your new channel draft listings, along with a notification confirming that Draft listings were successfully created. You can continue to customize your listings to your liking before going live.
Once you have finished editing your listings, you can choose Active listing from the Select Action list to publish it on Etsy. Your listing will be transferred from the Draft tab to the Active tab correspondingly.
#Step 3: Enable Etsy sync
LitCommerce provides the capability to synchronize inventory, pricing, and orders between your online store and Etsy. By enabling the Shopify Etsy sync function, any price modifications made in your Shopify store will automatically be updated on Etsy. Additionally, when an order is placed, the inventory sync feature ensures that the quantity is adjusted across all channels to maintain accurate stock levels.
To start syncing, choose Etsy from the main dashboard and click Channel Settings at the top right corner.
You will arrive at 3 sections: Pricing, Inventory, and Order. Click on the switches beside all the Sync options and confirm to turn on these features.
#Step 4: Manage orders
To manage orders, go to your sales channel from the left sidebar menu, under the Listing section. Click on Channel settings in the top right corner, then scroll down to the bottom and click on the button next to Import Orders to the eCommerce platform.
Incoming orders from Etsy that occurred will be pulled into your online store’s dashboard. Afterward, you can choose whether to review orders before the fulfillment process or have LitCommerce import them right into your existing order flow for centralized multichannel fulfillment.
There are 5 main tabs on the order page: All, Open, Completed, Ready to Ship, and Unlinked. In case you have thousands of orders that need to be fulfilled, these tabs will help you clarify the order status on each statement. For example, the Ready to Ship tab indicates that the customer’s order is fully packed and ready to ship.
