Welcome to LitCommerce! The purpose of this guide is to help you fully understand the LitCommerce app and effectively manage all aspects of your multi-channel business by making the best use of our built-in features.
A template is a set of options related to one of your listing attributes, and can be applied to multiple listings. Templates can be created for Shipping, Category, Price and Title.
A recipe is a collection of templates, designed to save you even more time. Recipes consist of 4 sections, corresponding to 4 types of templates. For each section, you can choose to assign a template created for that particular attribute.
For example, you have 2 Shipping templates and 2 Category templates, namely Shipping1, Shipping2, Category1, Category2. A recipe can be a combination of Shipping1 and Category2, or Shipping2 and Category1, depending on your choice.
If you apply a template to multiple listings, changes made to the template will also be updated on all of the listings with the template applied.
To manage or add new templates and recipes, go to Listing Templates and Recipes from the left sidebar menu.
Here you can see your list of templates and recipes, divided into 2 corresponding tabs. Since each channel has its own attributes, you will have to create templates and recipes for them individually. On the left panel, you can see your integrated channels. Click on the channel you want to create templates or recipes specifically
To add a new template, click on +Add new template on the right of the screen. Each of the templates will require you to add different information to complete. You can fill in the template name for easy reference later on.
If you choose the template as default, it will be automatically applied every time you create a new listing on that particular channel.
To apply the templates you’ve made to your listings, navigate to your channel listings page. You can always see your list of integrated channels on the left sidebar menu.
Simply select the listings you want to apply the template to by checking the boxes next to the images. After that, click Apply a template and select from one of your saved templates.
