You have up to 3 ways to start TikTok Shop integration, including integrating stores manually, hiring a tech expert, and using a third-party multichannel selling tool. So, what are the differences among these 3 methods? Let’s find out!
1. Manual integration
When it comes to manual TikTok integration, you can do one of the following ways:
- Selling separately on TikTok Shop and your web-based store: This is the very basic definition of manually integrating with TikTok Shop. You simply repeat your selling procedures on two channels, which include listing, product promoting, order fulfilling, and inventory managing. For such manual integration with TikTok, there are absolutely no coding skills required or any cost occurring. However, the repetitive and time-consuming process is not pleasant for any seller.
- Using an official app on your web-based store: By using an official app or plugin powered by your web-based store, you can directly add TikTok Shop to your seller dashboard. For instance, Shopify is now supporting TikTok, and the app has been available for online sellers for a long while.
- Using TikTok E-commerce Platform Integration: This solution by TikTok allows you to add TikTok directly to your website as an advertising and sales channel. Yet, this is most helpful for linking your TikTok for Business and Ads Manager accounts.

Step 1: Connect TikTok Shop to your store
- Go to app.litcommerce.com and log into your account. If you haven’t got one, hit Sign up. This app lets you register a new account with your email in less than 2 minutes.
- Once you’re logged in, you can set up your web-based store (It’s called Main Store in the LitCommerce app).
- LitCommerce now supports up to 6 platforms: Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Squarespace, and Square. Another supported eCommerce platform is Shopline, which is coming soon.
- To connect to your web store, simply choose the platform that powers it.
- I’ll take Shopify as an example in my “How to integrate with TikTok Shop” guide. Hit Connect, then you’ll be asked to connect to your Shopify store.
- Once you click Connect Your Account, the app will redirect you to Shopify. From there, install LitCommerce from Shopify.
- After that, simply open the app from your Shopify seller dashboard and connect LitCommerce with your Shopify account, confirm that you agree to the app’s terms and conditions, and you’ll be redirected back to the LitCommerce app.
- Moving on with TikTok Shop integration, you just need a click to connect with TikTok Shop. No coding skills are required because the app handles all technical work related to the TikTok API integration. Also, as you see from the screenshot below, LitCommerce supports other dynamic marketplaces as well. Consider integrating with Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and Walmart.

- When you hit the button connect, it’s time to fill in your channel name and choose a location. For the time being, LitCommerce can only support TikTok Shop sellers from the United States, United Kingdom, and Asia. Other locations will be available soon.
- The last step is to hit the button Connect Your Account. LitCommerce will use the TikTok Shop integration API and make sure your channel is well-linked.
- As you hit Connect, you’ll be redirected to the TikTok Shop seller dashboard. From there, install the app LitCommerce and authorize it for your TikTok Shop.
Step 2: List products on your TikTok Shop
Let’s carry on our topic of how to integrate with TikTok Shop and dive straight into the product listing part. I’m sure this section is highly informative to you with 3 major cases:

1. List products on TikTok Shop
Here comes the first case – list products from your web store to TikTok Shop.
- First, go to All Products from your central dashboard.
- As you are redirected to the All Products page, you’ll see every product from your web store. They are imported automatically from the moment you set up your first channel with LitCommerce.
- To choose products and list them on TikTok Shop, click the checkboxes on every line.
- Click Select Action, then List products to channels.
- When a window pops up asking you which channel you wish to list the chosen products on, choose TikTok Shop and your relevant channel (optional). Then click ADD AS DRAFT NOW.
Once you finish these steps, your product listings will become the Draft listings on TikTok shop (only on the LitCommerce app). You can choose to edit all listings before they go live. More about listing edition, let me introduce you to Templates and Recipes, Single Edit and Multi Edit mode.
Templates and Recipes
When you first list products on TikTok Shop using LitCommerce, a pop-up window will ask you about setting up a default listing template. Later, this template will automatically apply to your new draft listings on TikTok Shop.
LitCommerce system offers a default template setup for 2 reasons:
- To help you edit listings faster. This would be extremely helpful if you are new to online selling, listing, and all those concepts.
- To prevent cases in which sellers miss any listing requirements on the channel (mainly product information). In case your listings fail to adapt to TikTok’s requirements, they can be deleted by the house. However, listing on your online store doesn’t always require the same details.
Speaking more, Templates are attributes and settings for listings on certain sales channels. LitCommerce also offers you Listing Recipes, which refer to a set of templates. Yet, both will serve you as a means to list with much less effort!

Single Edit and Multi-Edit Modes
You can use LitCommerce Single Edit or Multi Edit mode when editing listings on TikTok. So, what exactly are these modes? The “How to Integrate with TikTok Shop” guide by LitCommerce will reveal it now!
- Single Edit mode: Simply tab into the draft listing in your TikTok store and edit every product detail you want. Once you’ve finished, save all your changes.

2. Import products from TikTok Shop and create them back to Main Store
How to integrate with TikTok Shop and import products from this channel into your web store? That’s our second case, and I’ll guide you through it right now!
- Go to your TikTok Shop from the central dashboard.
- Look up the Import From TikTok button and click it.
- When you are redirected to a new interface, answer the listed questions so that LitCommerce knows which products to import from your TikTok Shop.
- Also, notice the warehouse mapping since the app now supports TikTok Shop sellers from the United States, United Kingdom, and Asia. If you have multiple locations set up, this section allows you to map the locations on your Main Store to the corresponding Warehouses in TikTok. You can map one warehouse on TikTok to more than one warehouse on your Main Store. However, please note that the multi-warehouse is only available for TikTok US.
- Once you’ve answered all the questions, click Begin Import.
- If you have any new products from TikTok Shop but haven’t gone live on your web store, simply choose Select Action and Create on Main Store.
3. Link the same products on TikTok Shop and your Main Store together
The final case in my TikTok Shop integrating guide – listing products on channels is here. If you are looking to link the same products together, let’s go through the steps right now!
And if you are wondering why linking products is necessary, it’ll prevent you from having duplicated listings while selling on multiple channels. Although TikTok doesn’t charge listing fees, other channels you are selling on may charge extra. Now we’ll go into the details!
- Go to TikTok Shop from the central dashboard, like in the second case. Remember that LitCommerce has already linked the same products if you choose the default import option for integration with TikTok Shop. However, there are chances that not all SKUs match one another. That’s why you are linking products together.
- Pay attention to your products’ status through the dots – blue and red. Blue means they are well-linked, and red means the opposite.
- Hover to the products with red dots and choose Link to a Product.
- LitCommerce will help you find the matching product, or you can type the SKU and find it. Once you’ve found the right one, simply select and link them.
- When your products are all linked, they should look like this:

Step 3: Switch on data sync for integration with TikTok
Data synchronization on TikTok Shop and your online store simplifies this whole multichannel selling process. Once turning on this feature, you’ll be able to sync pricing, inventory, and orders in one place – no more overselling or stocking out.
Without any delay, here are our instructions for data synchronization.
- From your TikTok Shop dashboard on LitCommerce, go to Channel Settings.
- Once you navigate to the Channel Settings, the LitCommerce app will redirect you to an interface where you can turn on Price, Inventory, and Order sync.
- Feel free to choose any real-time sync function based on your business needs. Anytime you choose to switch on Price, Inventory, or Order sync, there will be a pop-up window asking you to confirm some information, as below.
- As you’ve configured every sync function you want, simply scroll down to the end and click Save Setting.
More about data sync when you use LitCommerce for TikTok integration; here are some highlights you may want to take note of.
1. Pricing sync
Starting with Price synchronization, it lets you set price display on TikTok Shop and your web store (identically or individually). More than that, you are the rule maker. This means you can increase or decrease the pricing display on all stores by a percentage or a fixed amount.
2. Inventory sync
For Inventory synchronization, the mechanism goes the same way with Pricing. You can choose to display inventory on channels at your own will. The rule-making decisions are in your hand as well. Feel free to decrease or increase inventory quantities on channels by percentage or fixed amounts.
Note that when it comes to integration with TikTok using LitCommerce, you need to fill in the warehouse mapping because the app now only supports sellers from the United States, United Kingdom, and Asia. Other locations will be available as soon as possible.
3. Order sync
- Orders with unlinked products notifications: LitCommerce’s real-time Order sync feature lets you receive emails when there is an order containing unlinked products.
- Import Orders from Main Store: This automatically imports orders from your Main Store for later fulfillment. However, this can only be active if you have turned on the Inventory Sync feature.
4. Other sync settings
Apart from the basic sync features for TikTok Shop, LitCommerce helps you sync product titles and descriptions or clear certain products. Nonetheless, please note that title and description sync can affect your product display and visibility on TikTok. Thus, when turning on this sync feature, consider your product details.

From there, you can monitor every order made on all sales channels and track their information from one centralized dashboard.
Notes for TikTok Shop sellers: Remember to choose the Shipped by Seller fulfillment method to use the order sync, tracking details, and integrated order flow feature by LitCommerce. Otherwise, if you choose the Fulfillment by TikTok, you won’t be able to use sync features fully. Also, you can’t see customers’s details (phone numbers, addresses, etc.).
