Introducing GTC Watchdog for eBay
Don’t want an old eBay listing to keep renewing automatically?
The new GTC Watchdog gives you more control over your Good ’Til Cancelled listings. It can automatically end eligible listings shortly before they reach the listing time you select.
You can choose a period between 1 and 6 months, calculated from the date the product was most recently listed or relisted on eBay.
This helps you review listing performance, remove products you no longer want to sell, and reduce the risk of unwanted renewal-related fees.
What’s New: GTC Watchdog has been updated! The Watchdog now runs twice a day, each time ending listings whose End/Renewal Time falls within the next 12 hours (plus a 30-minute buffer). This ensures listings are not automatically renewed by eBay, while you still get the most out of each renewal cycle.
Example: You set 30 days. Watchdog runs at 3:00 PM on August 5 → it ends all listings with an End/Renewal Time from 3:00 PM August 5 to 3:30 AM August 6.
Please note: The 30, 60, 90, 120, 150, and 180-day options are approximate (eBay does not renew on a fixed 30-day cycle). Watchdog will end a listing once the product has been listed on eBay for approximately 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 months.
