How Multichannel Listing Works

Connect your eCommerce platform
The first step is to connect your eCommerce platform. With LitCommerce, your eCommerce platform will be responsible for importing products and sales channel orders.
To continue, fill in the required information for your current platform. Each platform has different requirements compared to the others.
Connect your sales channel
Select the selling channel you want to integrate with including Amazon, eBay, Etsy, TikTok Shop and 20+ more. Sales channels are where you publish your listings to and “pull” orders from.
Note: On the initial setup page, you can only connect your store to one sales channel. After finished connecting, you can go back to the LitCommerce dashboard and create as many marketplace channels as possible
List products on a channel
If you haven’t sold any items on a second sales channel, follow this guide.
Choose products you want to list on a sales channel (can be one or all of them). Your products will be then created as Drafts on the channel on LitCommerce. You can go to that channel to continue to edit/provide required information to your listings to your liking before going live
In case you’re already selling on other sales channel, keep scroll down for more details.
Import listings & create on Main Store
If you are currently selling on some sales channels, keep reading.
In the importing page, you’re allowed to automatically create your listings on your eCommerce platform. Once you’ve clicked on the button, LitCommerce will import all listings from the sales channel and list them on your connected eCommerce platform.
Follow our instructions below to create your listing back to your eCommerce platform:
• Choose the listings you want to list on the eCommerce platform.
• Click Create on Shopify (or BigCommerce, Wix, etc. depending on the eCommerce platform you’re using).
The new product listing will be created immediately on your primary store and loaded into the LitCommerce product catalog.
Link unlinked listings
Each listing on your marketplace channels must be linked to a matching product in your LitCommerce product catalog in order for the system to update price, quantity and other product informations accurately.
One product in the LitCommerce product catalog can be linked to multiple listings on different selling channels. The chain icon next to the listing’s image indicates the linking status if that listing.
• A blue dot means the listing is linked to a product
• A red dot means there’s no product linked to this listing and price or quantity will not be automatically updated.
Enable price and inventory sync
With the sync feature enabled, the app will instantly update information such as price, inventory count, and orders.
In certain sales channels, LitCommerce supports syncing additional information such as SKU, image, title & description, and so on.
Enable order sync & manage order flow
Once you enable the Order Sync feature, your eCommerce platform store will instantly receive all order details from every sales channel you have.
You can review and fulfill them alongside orders from your online store, conveniently in one place.
Connect your product file
You can use a CSV or Google Sheets file as your Main Store (aka your central catalog) to manage and list products across multiple sales channels.
- Upload a CSV file – via URL download or FTP/SFTP.
- Connect a Google Sheets file – Paste the accessible link.
Next, give your file a store name and file name. You’ll then choose how you want LitCommerce to handle your products:
- Add New & Update – Adds new products and updates existing ones.
- Update Only – Updates only products that already exist in your store (make sure Product IDs match exactly).
Click Test Connection to ensure LitCommerce can read your file.
Once your file is connected, LitCommerce will automatically map your columns to standard product fields (like Title, SKU, Price, and Inventory).
If something doesn’t match, you can easily adjust it as you want.
When everything looks good, click Save — this tells LitCommerce how to interpret your file every time it syncs.

Add New Or Update Existing Products
Case 1: List products on a channel
After you connect your sales channels, LitCommerce will automatically import products from your file into the All Products tab.
If you choose the Add New & Update method. You’re looking to add new products or update existing listings on a channel (e.g., TikTok Shop), follow these steps:
- Select the products you want to list on a sales channel (you can choose several or all of them).
- Click Select Action → List Products on Channel, choose your sales channel, and add them as Drafts.
Note: All product data will be maintained separately from the original products in your file.
Draft listings give you a chance to customize details (like pricing, categories, shipping) to match each channel’s requirements.
When ready, publish them live with a single click.
Case 2: Keep existing products updated
If you used Update Only, LitCommerce can also bring in your current listings:
- Go to the channel tab (e.g., TikTok Shop).
- Click Import from Channel to pull in your live products.
- Configure settings like auto-linking by SKU or including deleted items.
Once imported, move them to the All Products tab by clicking on the Create on All Products button.
You can bulk edit the file (e.g., adjust pricing, descriptions, or inventory). Any changes you make will automatically sync with your channel, provided the product IDs match.
Important note: If you choose the “Update Only” method, ensure the product ID remains the same.
If you’ve set up a scheduled sync for your file, LitCommerce will automatically update your channel’s listings at the scheduled time. This saves you from manual updates and ensures your listings are always up-to-date.
Sync prices & inventory
Finally, make sure everything stays accurate. In your Channel Settings:
- Turn on Price Sync to keep pricing updated. You can also set rules to increase/decrease prices by a fixed amount or percentage.
- Turn on Inventory Sync to automatically update stock levels. Use rules to display only a percentage of stock or set min/max limits.
This helps prevent overselling and keeps your listings consistent across all channels.
