How to Create a Google Shopping Feed with LitCommerce
In this LitCommerce Academy tutorial, you’ll learn how to create and optimize a Google Shopping product feed directly from your store using LitCommerce.
What the video covers:
Step 1: Connect your store
We start by connecting your main store (Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce) to LitCommerce. This allows your product data to sync automatically into the LitCommerce platform.
Step 2: Set up your Google Shopping feed
You’ll see how to create a new feed, choose your country and market type, and map your product categories using two methods:
- Add Category (manual rules)
- Generate Category (auto-match based on product data)
Step 3: Create custom rules
LitCommerce lets you filter and modify your feed with rules. Adjust product data like titles or prices, exclude certain items, and preview how your feed changes before it’s published.
Step 4: Field mapping
Match your store’s data to Google’s required, recommended, and optional fields. You can also add custom fields and fix any mapping errors using helpful visual feedback.
Step 5: Quality check & feed activation
Quickly identify and fix issues with required or recommended fields. Once your feed is clean, activate it, copy the feed URL, and use it for Google Shopping.
Step 6: Schedule automatic feed updates
Enable daily syncs to ensure your feed stays up-to-date with product changes from your store—no manual updates needed.
