This LitCommerce Academy video guides you through how to connect BigCommerce to eBay and manage both platforms from one place, smoothly and easily. 

Here’s the breakdown:

Step 1: Connect BigCommerce to eBay

First, connect your BigCommerce store to LitCommerce. You can do this in two ways.

• Way 1 – Start from BigCommerce: Open the BigCommerce App Marketplace, search for LitCommerce, and install the app. Then, confirm that LitCommerce can access your store.
• Way 2 – Start from LitCommerce: Log in to LitCommerce, select Online Store as your Main Store, and click Next. Find BigCommerce, click Connect, and select Connect Your Account. You’ll then be redirected to BigCommerce, where you can install the app and approve the connection.

Once connected, BigCommerce will become your Main Store, and its products will appear in the All Products tab.

Next, find eBay in the supported marketplace list and click Connect. Enter your eBay store name, click Connect Your Account, and follow the on-screen instructions.

Step 2: List and Import Products on eBay

Once both stores are connected, you can manage your products in three ways.

Case 1: List BigCommerce Products on eBay

Open the All Products tab, choose the products you want to list, click Select Action > Add to Channel Drafts, select your eBay store, and click Add As Draft Now.

Next, open the drafts in your eBay channel and complete any missing details, such as categories, item specifics, business policies, and shipping information. Finally, click Save & Publish to eBay.

For larger catalogs, use Quick & Auto List to eBay to edit shared categories, prices, shipping settings, titles, and descriptions before publishing multiple products at once.

Case 2: Import eBay Listings to BigCommerce

Open your eBay channel and click Import from eBay. Choose which listings to import by status, item ID, or store category. You can also enable automatic linking by SKU or UPC. 

Then, click Begin Import. Once the listings appear in your eBay channel, select the ones you want to add to BigCommerce, and choose Select Action > Create on BigCommerce. 

The newly created products will then appear in All Products.

Case 3: Link Listings on BigCommerce and eBay

With auto-link enabled, listings linked automatically during import are marked with a blue dot, while unlinked listings display a red icon.

To link a product manually, hover over the eBay listing, select Link to a Product, and choose the matching BigCommerce product.

Step 3: Set Up BigCommerce eBay Sync

Next, go to All Products, click All, and enable Automatic Update. This allows changes from BigCommerce to update in LitCommerce first.

Then, open your eBay channel and select Channel Settings.

Enable Price Sync to update eBay prices based on BigCommerce. You can also create price rules to increase or decrease prices by a fixed amount or percentage.

After that, turn on Inventory Sync to keep eBay quantities aligned with your BigCommerce stock.

If needed, use inventory rules to adjust the available quantity or set minimum and maximum stock limits.

Step 4: Manage eBay Orders in One Place

Finally, scroll to the Order section in your eBay Channel Settings.

Enable Import Orders to Main Store to send eBay orders to your BigCommerce dashboard.

You can also choose additional options, such as importing orders with unlinked products or adding a prefix to imported order numbers.

Once everything is configured, click Save Settings.

Your BigCommerce eBay integration is now ready to publish and import products, synchronize prices and inventory, and manage eBay orders from BigCommerce.
