How to integrate Shopify with eBay
Set up your Shopify store through the app menu or install our app directly from the app store. Your Shopify store will act as the source for listing products on eBay.
Once you connect your eBay shop, LitCommerce enables integration with other channels including Amazon, eBay, TikTok Shop, and over 20 additional platforms.
We support listing items in three major scenarios:
- Scenario 1: You have products on your Shopify store and want to list them on eBay.
- Scenario 2: You have products on eBay and want to import these listings to your Shopify store.
- Scenario 3: You have products on both eBay and Shopify and want to link them together.
Products listed on eBay will be stored in the Draft tab, where you can edit them before publishing, including using our AI tool to generate optimized eBay descriptions.
Our Shopify eBay integration offers real-time synchronization, ensuring that product details such as names, images, inventory, prices, and orders are updated between your Shopify and eBay channels every 15 minutes.
Once you enable the Order Sync feature, your Shopify store will automatically receive all order details from eBay. You can review and fulfill these orders alongside your Shopify orders, all conveniently managed in one place.
If you’re looking to expand your Shopify store’s reach, adding eBay is one of the smartest moves you can make. eBay is one of the three most popular marketplaces in the US. With LitCommerce, connecting Shopify and eBay is easy; it comes down to four simple steps – no technical skills needed.
Here’s what we’ll cover in this Shopify eBay integration:
- Step 1: Connect Shopify to eBay
- Step 2: List & import products on eBay
- Step 3: Enable Shopify eBay sync
- Step 4: Manage eBay order flow
Step 1: Link Shopify to eBay
The first step is to connect Shopify as the Main Store on LitCommerce. You can either install LitCommerce from the Shopify App Store or connect Shopify from the LitCommerce app.

Then, from the supported marketplaces, find eBay, click Connect under the eBay logo. Then, enter your eBay store name, and hit Connect Your Account. Then, allow LitCommerce to access your existing eBay seller account.

Once finished, you have successfully linked Shopify to eBay.
Beyond eBay, as a multichannel selling tool, LitCommerce also supports other Shopify integrations, such as Shopify Etsy, Shopify TikTok Shop, Shopify Amazon integration, and more.
Step 2: List & Import Products on eBay
Once your Shopify and eBay accounts are connected, LitCommerce automatically imports your Shopify products so they’re ready to list. How you proceed depends on where your listings currently live.
Case 1: You want to list Shopify products on eBay
If you are selling on Shopify and want to expand to eBay, here is how:
Follow these steps to list your Shopify products to eBay:
1. Go to All Products, select the Shopify items you want to list.
2. Click Select Action > Add to Channel Drafts.

3. Check the box next to your eBay store, and click Add As Draft Now.

4. Then go to the eBay tab, review and edit each listing – eBay often requires more product details than Shopify, such as item identifiers, category, shipping, and return information.

5. Once ready, click Save and Publish to eBay.
Pro tip: Instead of listing products one by one, use Quick/Auto list to eBay to bulk edit & upload Shopify products to eBay. This allows you to create templates and apply the same settings such as categories, shipping, or pricing for each product across multiple eBay listings at once – a huge time-saver if you have a large catalog.

Case 2: You want to import eBay products to Shopify.
If you are selling on eBay and want to import to Shopify. LitCommerce lets you pull your existing eBay listings directly into your Shopify store.
Here is how to import eBay listings to Shopify using LitCommerce.
1. On the eBay channel tab, click Import from eBay.
2. Filter which products to import, let LitCommerce auto-link products on Shopify and eBay.
3. Once finished, click Begin Import.

4. Your eBay listings will then be imported into LitCommerce. Now select eBay listings, click Select Action, then click Create on Shopify.

And that’s it. You have successfully imported your listings from eBay to Shopify. And your products are linked across both platforms, ready for Shopify eBay integration.
Case 3: You want to link products on Shopify and eBay
When importing products from eBay to Shopify, if you have allowed auto-link products, the linked products across these two platforms will show with a blue dot. The products that haven’t been linked will show a red dot.
To link the unlinked products across eBay and Shopify, follow these steps:
1. Hover the red dot of the unlinked products.
2. Choose Link To A Product.
3. Find a matching item and click Select next to that product.

Once finished, your products are now linked both from eBay to Shopify and vice versa. Linked products are now ready for Shopify eBay integration and sync.
Step 3: Enable Shopify eBay Sync
LitCommerce keeps your Shopify and eBay stores in sync automatically – so your inventory, pricing, and orders stay consistent across both channels without any manual work.
To access these settings, click Channel Settings in your eBay store inside LitCommerce. Here are 3 main sync settings you can configure for your Shopify eBay integration:
- Price sync: Automatically updates your eBay prices to match your Shopify store. You can also apply price rules to increase or decrease eBay prices by a set amount or percentage.

- Inventory sync: Keeps your stock quantities aligned between both platforms in real time, preventing overselling. You can set minimum and maximum stock thresholds, enable out-of-stock control to keep listings active when inventory hits zero, and use inventory rules to sync only a percentage of your available Shopify stock to eBay.

- Order sync: You can also choose Import Orders to Main Store to pull all eBay orders into your Shopify dashboard so you can manage everything in one place.

Once you’ve configured your preferences, click Save Settings at the bottom of the page.
Step 4: Manage Your eBay Order Flow
Once Import Orders to Main Store is enabled, every eBay order automatically appears in your Shopify dashboard – right alongside your Shopify orders. No more switching between platforms to stay on top of your sales.
So from this unified view, you can:
- Review eBay and Shopify orders in one place
- Track shipments across both channels simultaneously
- Spot which one drives more revenue, and learn what’s working, so you can build a smarter selling strategy.
