Detailed Guide on WooCommerce Amazon Integration
Selling on WooCommerce and planning to expand to Amazon? Amazon gives your products access to one of the largest online shopper bases in the world. So, if you want to grow beyond your WooCommerce store without handling two separate workflows, connecting WooCommerce to Amazon is a smart next step.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to set up your WooCommerce Amazon integration using LitCommerce, including:
- Step 1: Connect WooCommerce to Amazon
- Step 2: List & import products on Amazon
- Step 3: Set up WooCommerce Amazon sync
- Step 4: Manage Amazon orders from WooCommerce
You don’t need technical skills to follow this guide. Let’s walk through each step.
Step 1: Connect WooCommerce to Amazon
To integrate WooCommerce with Amazon, start by setting WooCommerce as your Main Store inside LitCommerce. Your Main Store works as the central hub for your product catalog, inventory, pricing, and order data.
You can connect WooCommerce to LitCommerce by installing the LitCommerce plugin on your WooCommerce dashboard or adding your WooCommerce store directly from the LitCommerce app.

Once WooCommerce is set as your Main Store, follow these steps to connect Amazon:
- From the list of supported marketplaces, find Amazon and click Connect under the Amazon logo.
- Enter your Amazon store name and choose your Amazon marketplace country, such as Amazon US, Amazon UK, or Amazon Canada.
- Click Connect Your Account.
- Authorize LitCommerce to access your Amazon seller data.

After confirmation, your WooCommerce and Amazon stores will appear together in the LitCommerce dashboard. Now, your WooCommerce store is connected to Amazon and ready for listing, importing, and syncing.
Pro tip: LitCommerce also supports other WooCommerce integrations, including WooCommerce eBay, WooCommerce Etsy, and WooCommerce TikTok Shop. You can connect multiple channels to your WooCommerce store and manage them from one dashboard.
Step 2: List and import products on Amazon
After connecting WooCommerce to Amazon, the next step depends on where your products are currently managed. You can list WooCommerce products on Amazon, import existing Amazon listings into WooCommerce, or link products that already exist on both platforms.
Let’s walk through each case in this WooCommerce and Amazon integration guide.
Case 1: List WooCommerce products on Amazon
If your product catalog is already in WooCommerce, LitCommerce can help you send those products to Amazon.
Before listing, it’s important to know which situation applies to each product:
- Your product already exists in the Amazon catalog. In this case, you can list your offer under the existing ASIN.
- The product does not exist on Amazon yet. In this case, you may need a valid product identifier, such as GTIN, UPC, or EAN. If your product does not have one, you can apply for an Amazon GTIN Exemption, send a proof to LitCommerce so the team can configure it for your store.
Here’s how to list WooCommerce products on Amazon:
1. Go to All Products and select the WooCommerce products you want to list on Amazon.
2. Click Select Action, then choose Add to Channel Drafts.

3. Choose your Amazon store and click Add As Draft Now.

4. Open the Amazon channel tab and review your draft listings. Fill in Amazon-required fields, such as ASIN or product ID, product condition, category, shipping information, and offer details.
5. Once the listing is ready, click Save and Publish to Amazon.

Amazon usually requires more product data than WooCommerce, so make sure each listing includes complete, accurate information before publishing.
Pro tip: If you have many products, use Templates and Rules to apply shared Amazon settings in bulk. You can prepare shipping, offer, and product detail settings once, then apply them to multiple draft listings to save time.
Case 2: Import Amazon products into WooCommerce
If you already sell on Amazon and want to import those listings into WooCommerce, you can do so through LitCommerce.
Here’s how to import Amazon products to WooCommerce using LitCommerce:
1. On the Amazon channel tab, click Import from Amazon.
2. Filter which products you want to bring in, and let LitCommerce auto-link your items across WooCommerce and Amazon.
3. Click Begin Import to start.

4. Your Amazon listings load into LitCommerce. From there, select them, click Select Action, then choose Create on WooCommerce.

Once done, your Amazon listings will be added to your WooCommerce store. This helps you build or complete your WooCommerce catalog without having to manually recreate every product.
Case 3: Link WooCommerce and Amazon products
If the same products already exist on both WooCommerce and Amazon, you can link them instead of creating duplicates.
When importing products from Amazon, you can set auto-link matching items on both platforms. Linked products are usually marked with a blue dot, while unmatched products show a red dot.
Here is how to manually link unmatched products on WooCommerce and Amazon:
- Hover over the red dot on an unlinked product.
- Choose Link To A Product.
- Search for the matching WooCommerce product.
- Find the matching item and click Select next to it.

Once linked, LitCommerce recognizes that both listings represent the same product. Now your products are ready for the next step of this Amazon WooCommerce integration: Sync pricing, inventory, and order data.
Step 3: Set up WooCommerce Amazon sync
After your products are linked, you can enable WooCommerce Amazon sync to keep product data consistent across both platforms.
To open sync settings, go to your Amazon channel in LitCommerce and click Channel Settings. From there, you can configure the main sync options for your WooCommerce Amazon integration.
- Price sync: When price sync is enabled, LitCommerce can update Amazon prices based on your WooCommerce prices. You can also set price rules to increase or decrease Amazon prices by a fixed amount or percentage. This is helpful because Amazon fees, shipping costs, and pricing strategies may be different from your WooCommerce store.

- Inventory sync: Inventory sync helps keep stock levels aligned between WooCommerce and Amazon. You can also use inventory rules to control how much WooCommerce stock is sent to Amazon or set maximum or minimum stock levels.

- Order sync: Choose Import Orders to Main Store to bring all your Amazon orders into your WooCommerce dashboard. This lets you view Amazon orders together with your WooCommerce orders, so your team can manage fulfillment from one place.

Once your sync settings are ready, click Save Settings.
A quick note on Amazon products:
LitCommerce cannot sync inventory for products fulfilled by Amazon FBA, because that stock is stored and managed inside Amazon’s warehouse system.
Also, due to Amazon’s API limitations, imported Amazon orders may not include full shipping or customer details, such as buyer name and address. However, you can still see key order information, such as product title, SKU, price, and quantity.
Step 4: Manage your Amazon order flow
When Import Orders to Main Store is turned on, Amazon orders can appear in your WooCommerce dashboard alongside your store orders. This helps you reduce platform switching and manage daily sales more smoothly.
So, from this single, unified view, you can:
- Review all your WooCommerce and Amazon orders in one place.
- Track which products are selling across both platforms.
- Compare sales performance between WooCommerce and Amazon.
And that’s how to set up your WooCommerce Amazon integration with LitCommerce. Once connected, you can list products on Amazon, sync selling data, and manage Amazon orders through WooCommerce, without repeating the same work across two platforms.
